Rebel without a Cause

While The Bean has been busy growing into a real girl, I've been reliving freshman year at college.

The Bean is an awesome sleeper most nights; which means I get to do things I enjoy in the evenings. And I may have gotten drunk and carried away with my newfound freedom.

When you're making your sixth jar of pickled okra, you can put down the tongs - you've canned all the things.

You'll be glad to know, I'm inept as ever at this whole parenting this. Once you think you've got it all figured out, the child learns something new and ruins everything. You might remember how the Moby saved my life and allowed me to food shop.

Boy. Those were the good ol' days...

We can't even go to the grocery store. The child screams for ALL. THE. FOOD. like some starving third world baby.

I remember when I turned and found baby #1 standing up in the cart like that. *shudder*

And oh yes, the crack otherwise known as Pinterest. Love it.

Love your posts... miss them! Hope you start blogging more!

oh my gosh, these illustrations are too funny and SO true! The grocery store is also challenging now for me with my 17 month old. His thing is he constantly wants down to help push the cart. BAM, he runs into a wall or something, I scoop him up to pull him away and the entire store ends up looking at us because someone screams blooooody murder. Ahhh, the life of a mom :)

You are so, so, so funny. Don't give up. Keep blogging! :) I hear ya with the busy, though. And isn't the kid so much more fun (ish) when she's able to DO things, like sleep? ahhhh.
